A journalist by training, MARJOLAINE has worked for the wine industry for the past 20 years. She started developing her wine knowledge while working as the Communication Manager of the Wine & Spirit Trade Association in London, where she obtained her WSET Diploma Level IV in 2002.

Since then, wine has been her true passion.

She has written for numerous publications in the world of wine and has combined wine and communication throughout her career in London, Paris and Hong Kong. When she arrived in Hong Kong in 2010, she naturally started to be involved in wine writing and wine consulting with major wine importers and producers. As a WSET certified Educator, she teaches WSET Courses up to Level III and has developed her own set of wine classes with My Wine Experience.

Her work has allowed her to organise several wine events, interview wine personalities and visit numerous vineyards throughout the world, including France – of course – but also Canada, Italy, Chile, Thailand, South Africa, Australia and England.

Having lived in several countries (Canada, UK, Thailand, France and now Hong Kong), she offers a unique expertise in communication and a worldwide wine knowledge that she is very keen to share with her clients and students.
